I am a general practitioner, and my years of experience practicing CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release® Upledger method have helped me understand that the therapeutic process is not only based on the treatment technique, but also on the interaction between doctor and patient.
 

I am currently completing my doctoral studies in the philosophy of medicine at the University of Bucharest. My research direction is to analyze the cognitive processes within the doctor-patient relationship and how they directly influence the therapeutic outcome.

Next, I propose to investigate, through empirical methods, the role of the humanities in training the future physician in terms of clinical reasoning, prevention of burnout syndrome, and last but not least the human dimension, in its sense of empathy and kindness.​
